Richard Raaphorst’s Frankenstein’s Army is a found-footage creature feature that brings nightmares to life with its wicked man-made monsters. It’s the perfect midnight movie full of blood and guts with a dash of humor. The film takes place towards the end of World War II where a squad of Russian soldiers stumble across a secret Nazi lab, one that has unearthed and begun experimenting with the journal of one Dr. Victor Frankenstein. The scientists have used the legendary Frankenstein’s work to assemble an army of super-soldiers stitched together from the body parts of their fallen comrades – a desperate Hitler’s last ghastly ploy to escape defeat. Frankenstein’s Army marches in with a new UK quad

The UK quad for Dark Sky Films’ Frankenstein’s Army is ridiculously awesome as is showcases some of the film’s badass looking monsters as they gear up to march straight into select cities on July 26th. From writer-director Richard Raaphorst, the much anticipated flick was written by  Miguel Tejada-Flores and stars Karl Roden. Don’t Let the Brains Get on You With These First Images For ‘Frankenstein’s Army’

Dark Sky Films has been hard at work on the much anticipated feature film debut of Richard Raaphort’s Frankenstein’s Army. They’ve released the very first official stills of the film and they are pure horror goodness. One of them shows off the one and only Dr. Frankenstein as he goes to work on one of his patients. The other picture is something you could only find in our lovely genre with a creature called “Propellerhead”, which is being described as a hulking Nazi automaton that uses its spinning rotors to slice a bloody swath through the film’s terrified, lost Russian battalion.  Continue Reading…
