You never like to see a popular actor leave a project like Guillermo del Toro’s Crimson Peak; especially when their name is Benedict Cumberbatch. First Emma Stone had to exit the film due to a conflict in her schedule now we see another one go — this time, however, it hurts much worse. As a huge fan of Cumberbatch I was pretty damn excited to see the actor take on a crazy horror flick with none other than Guillermo del Toro at the helm. Chan-wook Park’s ‘Stoker’ Has Release Date

Chan-wook Park, the man behind the cult classic Oldboy will be making his English-language film debut with Stoker which has finally just gotten a release date of March 1, 2013. The simple fact that this will mark one of Korea’s finest filmmakers first English film is a good enough reason to have this film on your radar. But if that isn’t enough to get you excited for the upcoming thriller, take a look at the cast. The film will star Nicole Kidman, Mia Wasikowska, and Matthew Goode all backed by a score from Clint Mansell who has given us some unforgettable scores from films like Requiem for a Dream, Moon, and Black Swan.

Stoker centers around a teenager dealing with the sudden death of her father and the unexpected reappearance of a mysterious uncle.
