One cool tidbit is that back in 2008 this very driver’s license sold at an auction for $8,000. Not bad… not bad at all! Continue Reading…

5 Great Hitchcock Films You Might Have Missed
Alfred Hitchcock has directed over 50 feature length films in an amazing career that spanned six decades with many of them becoming some of cinema’s most classic films. Because he has directed so many movies it’s not all that surprising that a lot of them have slipped through the cracks. I’m assuming that most of us have all seen the likes of Rear Window, Psycho, Vertigo, The Birds, and North by Northwest so I thought it would be a bit more interesting to make a list of 5 great Hitchcock films that you may not have seen before. ‘Bates Motel’ Checks In With First Image
Here is our very first look at the much anticipated TV series Bates Motel which will serve as a prequel to the Alfred Hitchcock classic, Psycho. With all of the recent announcements of TV series diving into the horror genre this one has to be the one I’m most looking forward to. It no doubt has some pretty big shoes to fill as Psycho is not only one of the most classic of horror films but it was brought to us by one of the most recognizable directors of all time in Alfred Hitchcock. Anytime a piece of Hitchcock’s work is being taken into new hands it sends up a red flag. A&E’s Bates Motel, however, looks to be something fresh with a fantastic leading lady in Vera Farmiga as well as the surprising choice of Freddie Highmore as Norman Bates. Continue Reading…

‘Hitchcock’ Trailer Is Devilishly Entertaining
Here it is everyone. As promised, the Hitchcock trailer from Fox Searchlight has arrived and it’s absolutely stunning. This is by far one of the films I’ve been anticipating the most this year as Alfred Hitchcock and his films have highly influenced my love of the genre.
With his success, Hitch decided to make a “lowly” horror film that basically no studio wanted anything to do with it. Upon hearing this, Hitchcock pulled together the financing for the film by himself. In doing so he created one of his biggest hits and one of the most influential horror films of all time.
