Mondo

Mondo hardly needs an introduction. When it comes to movie posters; no one does it better as they capture the very essence of each and every film with a vintage style that makes for every one of their posters something truly unique and beautiful. The likes of Saul Bass’s fantastic Vertigo poster or Drew Struzan’s amazing hand drawn illustrations for classics like Indiana Jones and Back to the Future have been a lost style for many years. Mondo aims to change that as they recapture that hand-drawn spirit of the movies posters when they used to be true works of art. It’s safe to say that Mondo has successfully made a name for themselves as they have created some masterpieces over the years. Here is some of my favorite work.

These are all really something. But I particularly love Martin Ansin’s work. The Phantom of the Opera is simply stunning.
