Alastair Orr’s creature-featured Indigenous has just debuted its trailer as it sets up for its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival this weekend. The trailer is all kinds of awesome as it features a wicked creature design—a blood-sucking Chupacabra—that makes happy meals out of a bunch of friends who go wandering off into the jungle. I’m a sucker for a practical effects driven creature-feature with a monster design that’s actually scary; surprisingly, that’s something the horror genre doesn’t see that often anymore.
