I honestly can’t think of a better way to wrap the week up than with this carnage-fueled teaser trailer for Brian O’Malley’s Let Us Prey. It’s literally 45 seconds of pure insanity that only takes a breathe to throw more of the red stuff on the walls. Basically, it’s my kind of teaser! You won’t find a story to be told in this quick trailer because instead of bothering us with all those boring words and stuff, it delivers a pure gut-wrenching dose of horror that promises to be a night filled with insanity.
Let Us Prey is currently gearing up for its world premiere at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival on April 17 so hopefully we’ll soon be hearing good things about it. And because the teaser doesn’t offer a whole lot as far as story goes, here’s what it’s about:
An enigmatic stranger is detained in the cells of a remote police station one fateful night. From his basement dungeon the charismatic loner begins to take over the minds of his fellow inmates and those of the police officers. He influences them to bend to his evil will and their latent inner demons explode in a crazed night of blood-spilling and mayhem. Only rookie cop Rachel is able to resist him… Will she survive?
Let Us Prey stars Liam Cunningham (Game Of Thrones, Dog Soldiers) and Pollyanna McIntosh (The Woman, Love Eternal).
