While we still have a pretty lengthy wait until we see Carrie hit the silver screen in October, we at least have some new stills to hold us over until then. I’ve been following Carrie since the first rumors of Chloe Moretz taking the lead as Carrie White and for those of you who have been reading my blog since then you’ll know that I’ve been on board from the beginning. I really dig the cast and I believe that Moretz will surprise a lot of people. I also like the fact that this adaptation is going to be more faithful to Stephen King’s novel.
A reimagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White (Chloë Grace Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore), who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.
Directed by Kimberly Peirce, Carrie pours into theaters on October 18th. Check out the new stills!
