And just like that a new director is being eyed to tackle the daunting task of brining Stephen King’s epic novel The Stand to life on the biggest of screens. I mentioned last week that Warner Bros. has been hellbent on getting this project off the ground and that they would no doubt have a long list of directors that they want to helm the film. Xan Cassavetes’ vampire tale Kiss of the Damned is anticipating its SXSW premiere which will be part of the midnight line-up at the festival this coming March. Now, we’ve got our hands on the red band trailer for the flick and boy is it a doozy. We get a peak at all the good stuff — sexy women and blood. The trailer is very interesting and shows off some pretty kick-ass images and the old-school 70′s text that pops up during the trailer is a very cool touch. This one has definitely grabbed my attention as it looks to set itself far apart from a lot of the vampire flicks we’ve seen lately, but I’ll let you guys be the judge. Continue Reading…
