Yesterday we were hit with the surprising news that Fede Alvarez was no longer attached to Evil Dead 2, but apparently the statement made by co-writer Rodo Sayagues got lost in translation. Bloody Disgusting reached out to Alvarez  who confirms that, “stuff got lost in translation” with Sayagues in the Gorosito interview published earlier today.
