We now finally have a poster for Eli Roth’s The Green Inferno that is just as striking as the teaser trailer we saw back in April. Usually I can’t stand a poster that has nothing on it but a giant floating head with a bunch of nonsense thrown in the background for shits and grins, but that is absolutely not the case with the official one-sheet for The Green Inferno. It’s just a simple, terrifying shot of a girl about to become a happy meal and I love it! I think you guys are going to dig it as well so take a look!

The Green Inferno will have a feast in theaters on September 5th through Open Road Films.

How far would you go for a cause you believe in? In horror master Eli Roth’s terrifying new film, a group of college students take their humanitarian protest from New York to the Amazon jungle, only to get kidnapped by the native tribe they came to save: a tribe that still practices the ancient rite of cannibalism, and has a healthy appetite for intruders.

Directed by Eli Roth, The Green Inferno stars Daryl Sabara, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Lorenza Izzo, Ariel Levy, Aaron Burns, Magda Apanowicz, and Sky Ferreria.

Sounds like an interesting premise for a movie, the idea of sacrificing yourself for your ideals.

Unrelated question: Do you have any recommendations for satirical horror?

I always recommend Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon because it’s an underrated gem that gives a bunch of nods to classic horror movies and cliches. It’s a lot of fun.
