How does an old school looking zombie flick directly influenced by Lucio Fulci and Umberto Lenzi go unnoticed in the horror world? I’m not entirely sure, but Brett Mullen’s Bombshell Bloodbath managed to do just that as it snuck up on us all with its undead legs and blood thirsty groans for human flesh. The trailer has been around for a while but it’s just now starting to gain traction amongst genre fans and it looks like an insanely entertaining throwback to the glory days of 80′s horror.

I have a weak spot for these types of horror flicks—a B-movie with an A-movie heart with only one goal in mind: entertain the shit of its audience and throw as much blood at the screen as its running time allows. The trailer is a NSFW so you might want to look over your shoulder before you click play on this one. Check it out below and try not to get any on you!

Bombshell Bloodbath concerns the daughter of a brilliant scientist who is exposed to her father’s experimental treatments designed to re-animate his wife. The movie follows her as her brain collapses and she becomes a zombie.

Bombshell Bloodbath stars Alex Elliot, Rob Springer, Larry Parks, Samantha Mills, Jess Barbour, Shane Terry, Kathy Sandvoss, Miles Snow, Joanne Maye, Brianna Doss, Ed Ricker, Darren Hummel, Don Sill, Owen Daily, and Matthew Moore. It was written by Mullen and Sky Tilley.

I enjoy life, living comes so naturally to me; its a precious gift like boobs… or rockets. I honestly believe that if you were ever attacked by a gorilla that you should just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of having each of your limbs ripped off.
