James Wan’s The Conjuring has quickly established itself as one of the must see horror films of the year as it made a huge splash with it’s truly creepy teaser we got just a few weeks ago. Now, we’ve got an official trailer to haunt us that gives a much better idea as to what exactly the film is about. I’ve got to say, I really dig the new trailer. It’s not nearly as creepy as the teaser — which would be hard to top — but still manages to send chills down your spine. Again, if you guys haven’t read the true story that inspired the film yet, I strongly urge you to do so because it’s simply fascinating and Andrea Perron, who lived in the house, directly helped me write the most accurate telling of her story.

The Conjuring will haunt theaters July 19th.
Geez, July is a long time! lol. Glad to see Lili Taylor in this; she is a very rare type of actress. No one else out there quite like her. Very underrated. She gives Academy Award quality performances in pretty much every movie she’s in. The rest of the cast looks strong, as well.

O.M.G. I am dying to see this! It has an amazing cast, and the story is so creepy! I’m going to be driving through NY the end of the month, I’m really hoping to get to see the Warrens Occult Museum! That would make for an amazing post :)
Oh wow, that would be way cool and creepy. I bet there’s all sorts of wicked little haunted things in there. Yikes!
