Indie horror ‘Wolf Cop’ arrives with an insane trailer

This is why I love the horror genre. The independent horror scene is growing faster every day and because of that we’ve been treated to some memorable classics throughout the years, all thanks to filmmakers like Lowell Dean. Dean has written and directed Wolf Cop, his second feature film, that looks like a horror film straight out of the glorious grindhouse days.

The WolfCop story is centered on alcoholic cop Lou Garou. It’s not unusual for Lou to black out and wake up in unfamiliar surroundings, but lately things have taken a strange turn. Crime scenes seem oddly familiar. His senses are heightened and when the full moon is out, he is a rage-fueled werewolf. WolfCop is one cop’s quest to become a better man…One transformation at a time.

Wolf Cop looks to have that perfect blend of horror and comedy which is said to be in the same vein of Evil Dead and An American Werewolf in London — throw in some fantastic practical effects and we just might have a hit on our hands.

The Saskatchewan team behind the horror-comedy Wolf Cop take part in CineCoup’s weekly challenges as they attempt to gain attention and fan votes on their film’s two-minute trailer using social media platforms — to find out more about this wicked little flick just click here.

I enjoy life, living comes so naturally to me; its a precious gift like boobs… or rockets. I honestly believe that if you were ever attacked by a gorilla that you should just sit back and relax while you enjoy the once in a life time feeling of having each of your limbs ripped off.

Pretty frickin awesome. I don’t know if I could handle a feature film though as the trailer did more than enough for me. I don’t like that when he changes, he gets all bloodied on his hands but then later is all fluffy and shit. I want to see a bloody disgusting were cop, dammit!

I could watch the shit out of a feature version of this, it’s just too awesome! It reminds me of the faux trailers that played during Grindhouse, amazing shit.
