Recently a bunch of incredibly rare movie posters from the early 1930′s were discovered in Pennsylvania that brought in a ton of dough at an auction. The most sought after poster however, was this Dracula one-sheet from 1931. This is only one of four that are known to be in existence and sold for $143,400! This wonderful painted piece has the one and only Bela Lugosi as Dracula with the unforgettable tag line:
“The story of the strangest passion the world has ever known!”
I would do horrible things to have something like that hanging on my wall. Check it out!

lol, my exact response!
I’m a huge posterphile and something like that makes me wish I had an infinite money supply (and wall space).
Very awesome!! Wow, $143,400??? My goshhh
…let’s see…ten….twenty-five….forty-five….one…..two….Two dollars….almost got it!!
Seriously, it’s a beautiful poster. As for the price I think you have to be immortal to be able to earn enough money for it.
Some rich guy who has probably never even seen the film has it sitting in one of his houses right now lol. It really is beautiful, wish we could see more posters like that these days!
Exactly!
